This week was Jack and Eve's final week of school. It was also the week of Candy the Christmas Elf's arrival.
The baby Guinea Fowls are super fast and almost impossible to catch. They love to hide under Brownie and Whitey.
On Thursday I drove to the Coast for Eve's school Awards Day. Picked her up and all her gear and then up to Brisbane to pick up all Jack's gear. Unfortunately he doesn't get to come home as he has a week of rowing camp.
Friday afternoon we put the boat in. It was ridiculously windy as there were a couple of storms around. Fred was very happy to have a knee boarding partner again.
Yep, she's home!
We like to mark milestones and Saturday was Polly's first every "bush wee" on the way to Dirranbandi. She was wearing a jumpsuit which explains the total nudity.
We celebrated Lauren and Andrea's 21st on Saturday night. Camped in the camper trailer for two nights which is always a big adventure for Fred and Polly.
Christmas tree made its appearance early in the week. We also welcomed Candy our Christmas Elf.
She arrived through her little red magical elf door. This is the door she uses each night to magically go back to the North Pole and report to Santa all the naughty and nice things happening each day.
Of course, Candy is a little mischievious and likes to keep herself busy when the children are sleeping. The good ole toilet paper around the Christmas tree was a huge hit with Fred and Polly.
Candy managed to magically appear at Dirranbandi. What a clever little elf making a hammock out of a tea towel. Good thinking bringing a hat and sunglasses.
Candy left a little note from elf saying that she had left an advent calendar for each child. Timely really as Polly ate her entire advent calendar in one day with Darra!
Back home to Goondiwindi on Monday morning.
Thanks for stopping by.
