Another week at home. The highlight of this week was Polly giving her dummy to the Dummy Fairy.
Trying to get into the swing of homework. Fred does his homework while I am getting dinner ready. He is doing really well at school but doesn't really love homework.
Words can not explain how much Polly loves her swimming lessons. Hard to imagine that she cried for her entire first lesson. She is so much braver and more confident in the water now.
Continuing to enjoy our afternoons at the pool.
On Wednesday afternoon, Eve participates in Etiquette Class. This week they talked about dining etiquette and had the TSS boys over for the lesson.
On Thursday Polly and I go up to school and help with reading groups.
Chilling out on her bed.
Coffee time
Friday, Polly decided that she was not interested in having a lunch time sleep. She spent over two hours in her bedroom and W O U L D N O T go to sleep. After about an hour and 45 minutes I threatened that is she didn't get to sleep quick smart I would cut the top off her dummy. Well there comes a time when you just have to follow through on your threats. So no more dummy for Polly and lots of tears for Mummy. Of course she was sooooooooooooooo tired that afternoon that she fell asleep before dinner.
We made it through bedtime that night but there were tears.
Saturday was the big day. Polly said goodbye to her dummies and left them out for the Dummy Fairy. Really no point hanging onto them when they have holes in the top. The Dummy Fairy brought her some chocolates and a couple of books so she was happy until bedtime. No lunch time sleep again.
Needed water on the trampoline on Sunday afternoon to provide some entertainment. Very long days when Polly refuses to have a sleep.
Thanks for stopping by.
