All kids back at school, happy and healthy.
Monday I took Eve back to school. Did a bit of shopping in the morning and then checked back into school after lunch. She was happy with her roo, and ready for term 3.
Polly back to having the entire house to herself. At the moment she loves playing babies and dressing up.
Fred is happy to be back in the school routine. He is now on Level 10 Sight Words and Level 6 home readers. It is so much fun watching him learn to read and the joy he gets from reading a book all by himself.
Jack was presented with his Bronze Academic Award from semester 1on assembly this week. Here he is with the other award recipients from his boarding house.
Thursday was Fred's Athletics carnival. His events included high jump, ballgames, sack races, egg and spoon, the chook throw and 60m sprint. He had fun even though he was feeling 100%. I took him home after his events were completed at 12 and he slept until 6pm. Had a bath, not much to eat and then went back to bed and slept through until morning! Absolutely exhausted!
On Saturday, Polly and Fred went with Gran and Darra to watch Jack play his final trial games against Downlands in Toowoomba. Photo credit to Fred.
Brett and I travelled up to Kawana Waters on Saturday to watch Eve row in her first regatta. Her crew came 4th in their race and they were happy with their efforts. We then went onto Brisbane to attend the Nudgee Rugby dinner. Was a good night and we were happy to catch up with Jack who stayed out with us for the night.
Thanks for stopping by.
