Another week almost at an end. We have all settled in to holiday mode and trying not to think about school starting in two weeks. This week we ...
had a trip to Toowoomba for Evie to get her braces on. Trying hard not to look at her braces and see a trip to some exotic island. I am quite sure that Eve will appreciate her straight teeth!
Fred had a swimming lesson every morning at 9am and the two bigs had swimming training from 7 - 9 am.
Swimming lessons and play dates with friends made Fred a very tired, and somewhat grumpy boy.
I started the tedious job of sewing name tags onto all of Jack's belongings. There has to be an easier way to sew name tags to socks, I managed to sew one sock together!
It's been ridiculously HOT and we have had a couple of afternoon storms which bring some short lived relief.
This one loves to watch the storms and she never, ever has a clean face.
We tried to set Duck free in the creek but he wasn't interested and came back up to the fence. Obviously didn't want to leave Sugar and Spice.
Polly enjoying hanging out with Dad.
We have a teenager in the house. Jack turned 13 yesterday. We had a birthday dinner for him on Friday night.
I bravely decided to make him a rainbow cake. Turned out surprisingly well, more like the leaning tower of frosting than a neat rainbow, tasted yummy just the same.
A certain little Miss One has taken a liking to stashing treasure in all sorts of places. I still haven't found the plug for the bath.
Time at the Waterpark this morning.
And that pretty much sums up our week. Ready now to create Project Life Week Two.
Thanks for stopping by.
Was thinking of you on the weekend and wondering how you were coping with having a new teenager!!! Caitlin got her L's a couple of weeks ago so 120 hours of driving need to be logged...and she is 80km restricted....longs trips!!!! Hope you are coping with the heat OK....we keep having storms and power outages...Good luck with the label sewing...enjoy the remainder of the holidays. X PC
