It seems like our lives revolve around swimming at the moment and there seems little time for anything else ... last Wednesday, Jack was part of the Macintryre Zone School Swim team to go to Gatton to try out for the Darling Downs team ... his first time, and he was so very excited ... it was a stinking HOT day but we survived ... Jack made it into the DD team for 50m and 100m breaststroke and 100m freestyle ...
We are so happy for him, this was definitely his own personal goal for this season ... now he goes to Chandler at the end of the month to swim in the State Trials.
On the weekend, both Jack and Evie swam at the Country Championships and Regional Swim Meet ... two big days at the pool in Toowoomba ...
competition was fierce ... and can I tell you that swimming parents are definitely a breed of their very own ... you kind of feel good about yourself after watching some of the parents ... anyways, Jack got third in the 100m free, second in the 50m breaststroke and third in the 100m breaststroke ... Evie swam really well and got some PBs so she was more than happy! Just three more weeks of swimming and then we are all done for the season.
In my spare time I have photographed each of the 124 Swimming Club members and uploaded each photo onto a water bottle for Presentation Night ...
will look something like this but with a swimming photo ... time consuming but I think the kids will like it!
And in whatever other spare time I have ... I hang out here ...
Freddie is doing really well with the number ones and he has done two number twos on the toilet ... we were all very excited about that!
I have also managed to whip up a layout ....
love the Modern Homemaker stickers from October Afternoon ... used some random photos of what my everyday life looks like ...
avialable as a TAKE AWAY pack.
That's it from me today ... thanks for stopping by.
