Once again it's been awhile since I last blogged .... our lives seem ridiculously busy, can't see it slowing down anytime soon .... here is what has been happening since Week In Our Life ...
-
First weekend in May was a four day weekend for us (show holiday on Friday and Labour Day holiday on Monday). We headed to Toowoomba for Brett's nephew's wedding and also a family reunion on my Mum's side of the family.
-
Netball comp started last Saturday for Evie. Her team won their first game. Then on Sunday we travelled to Miles for a netball carnival all day (yes, Mothers' Day). Polly, Eve and I did arrive home to a special Mothers' Day dinner cooked by the boys.
-
Brett, Jack and Fred travelled to Clifton for Club football on Saturday then onto Toowoomba for Darling Downs footy training. They stayed overnight so that Jack could do a swimming training session on Sunday.
-
Jack and Eve competed in their school cross country. Jack finished third and now goes onto Mac Zone and Evie came in about 9th or 10th.
-
Travelling to Moree once a week for Jack to continue with his swimming training.
-
Polly is now 18 weeks and I think that she is ready for solids, not sure that I am ready though!
-
We have an orphaned calf, BJ and he is Fred's new best friend.
-
Have had our first frost of the season.
Polly 365 catch up ... Day 120, spending more time in the bumbo chair and she is starting to dribble just like her big brother Fred. Exactly 16 weeks old.
Day 121, she still drinks 5 bottles each day and takes less time to chug down 180ml, about half and hour if she is hungry.
Day 122, her official 4 month old photo .... look how ridiculously long she looks!
Day 123, every girl needs a little leopard skin print in their wardrobe.
Day 124, can you spot Polly? A photo of all the cousins with their partners and kids at the family reunion.
Day 125, Polly loves being outside on the grass, so much to look at, it's sensory overload and distracts her from grumpy moods.
Day 126, more outside time, watching Jack doing his exercises .... such a serious little face in this photo.
Day 127, needles today and a bit cranky by sundown, fever during the night ... snuggling with Fred on the couch waiting for a bottle.
Day 128, trying to encourage some tummy time, she isn't a big fan.
Day 129, sometimes Polly's lunch time naps are very disruptive and the only way to get her back to sleep is to put her on my bed with me of course!
Day 130, Polly's eyes are so sparkly and very blue.
DAy 131, thank God that Polly travels well in the car, does she have a choice! Here she is ready to drive home from Miles on Sunday.
Day 132, sadly, she has outgrown the snuggle bed, her head touches one end and feet the other.
Day 133, her very first sleep in the cot without the snuggle bed, she did wake a couple of times during the night which isn't a good sign, might need to squeeze her back in the snuggle bed.
I have been a bit slack with capturing our everyday moments ... note to self, take more photos. Here are a few randoms ...
Yep, a pathetic amount of photos for May so far, my month in review is going to be very blank this month.
Currently working on June Double Up layouts, looking good so far .... May was a sell out, thanks everyone! Haven't even thought about putting together my Week In The Life album, it's on the TO DO list with about a million other things!
That's about if from me, thanks for stopping by.
