OK people, here are the five layouts for the DECEMBER DOUBLE UP pack ... hope that you like them ...
I found this photo of Jack taken with Santa at 11 months ... I was heavily pregnant with Eve and thought that I should do the right thing and have Jack's photo taken at the shopping mall ... so I lined up for ages and finally it was our turn ... as you can see, Jack was NOT impressed ... obviously, this photo never made it to the mantle piece but I thought it should make it to Jack's album ... You better watch out, you better not cry, better not pout, I'm telling you why!
This year, I asked Jack and Evie to write their Christmas lists ( I like to include their handwriting on the layout ) then we googled images of the items on their lists ... a great exercise to clarify what they actually want for Christmas.
It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas includes photos from December last year ... decorations, the gingerbread house, gingerbread men, truffles, chocolate wreaths and our Christmas card photo shoot.
Lots of goodies in this month's collection ... 8 cardstock ... 12 pattern papers of which all but one is reversable .... glitter lettering from Sassafrass and Echo Park lettering stickers ... Sassafrass chipboard flowers ... Hamly lace rub ons ... American Crafts felt Details and Dear Lizzy rose brads ... fantastic value for $60 ... order yours here. The special for this month is 25% off all EMBELLISHMENTS ... the discount will be deducted from the total of your order before processing.
I have had quite a few people ask if I was participating in a December Daily this year ...
and yes I am, but I am not creating a mini book ... the thing that I loved most last year about the whole December Daily project was that it forced me to record with words and photos each day in December ... so, I am going to do that again ... but I am NOT going to create an album, I am going to do a layout for each week .... so 4 layouts for the month of December (Days 1-7, 8-14, 15-21, 22-31) ... I am going to focus on the photos this year and I have signed up for this .... prompts and assignments to help capture the JOY of Christmas.
One of our assignments is THE TREE ... so this morning, we put on the Christmas carols, and Eve and Fred helped to decorate our twig tree ...
I know that officially, Wednesday is the start of December, but I am just getting organised and allowing for those crazy days! So now I can tick off THE TREE assignment ... tick!
That's it from me today ... Oh, before I go, I little shout out to Jack and Evie who both received awards at the School Awards Night on Wednesday ... Jack got the MOST CONSISTENT EFFORT award for his class and Evie received the MUSIC, ART, DRAMA AND PERFORMING ARTS award ... they were both very excited and we were very proud parents ... OK, that's really it from me, thanks for stopping by.
