PROJECT LIFE WEEK 19

Here we go again, another week documented.  The highlight of Week 19 was Mother's Day, we spent the day with Gran and Darra in Toowoomba.  The visit was to be a surprise but unfortunately Jack didn't know and he let the cat out of the bag when he phoned Gran to wish her Happy Mother's Day (never mind).

Discovered this week that Polly has two new teeth.  She was playing on the trampoline and fell down laughing when I spied two big molars up the top.  Now I have something to blame all the meltdowns on!

Honestly, her face is never clean.

New shoes for Miss Big Foot whose feet seem to grow at the speed of light.

Doug and Duck are so funny to watch.  They have a love hate relationship!  Doug loves to stir Duck up and Duck takes it very, very seriously.  He doesn't like to come off second best.

Evie's Saturday morning team had another win, she is really enjoying netball this year.

Fred was very sweet on Mother's Day morning and was bursting with excitement and pride when he presented me with his Mother's Day car and beads that he made at Kindy.  He had kept it a secret, so sweet.  

Jack is going well at boarding school.  We speak to  him everyday, miss him terribly.  Cross Country, rugby training and school work are keeping him busy.

PROJECT LIFE WEEK 18

Another busy week.  Highlights were Jack coming home for the weekend and the Gundy Show.

This is Freddie waiting for Brett to come home.  He had promised to take the training wheels of Fred's bike and told him to be ready.  And ready he was!

And this is just a usual snapshot of Polly.  Helmet, rainboots and standing on the table.

Sir Crapalot, the duck, is a cranky thing.  He is super protective of the two chooks.  Freddie is brave enough to pick him up.

PROJECT LIFE WEEK 17

Another busy week done and dusted.  Definitely noticing that the days are getting shorter.  Cool mornings are a sign of things to come and coming inside earlier from outside time as it is getting dark at 5:30ish.

Now that swimming is over, Eve has more time at home in the afternoons.  She is very good at playing with Polly and Fred.  Here they are in their very own train.

Polly's latest and greatest trick is to spend most of the day on the dining room table or bench seat.  I have had to remove the fruit bowl as all the fruit had bites taken out of it.

We all attended the Anzac Day march and ceremony.  Evie in her role as school captain led the march and laid a wreath.

Enjoying as much outdoor time as possible.

Evie had her school cross country on Friday and ran really well winning her age group.

School fete on Saturday, too busy having fun to get any decent photos.

Inter district netball in Laidley on Sunday.  The girls were very excited about their new netball uniforms.

And that sums up another week in our household.

MAY DOUBLE UP KIT

I am a little bit late with the MAY DOUBLE UP shares.  I have been waiting for some product to arrive so that I could add to my layouts, but I have given up now and will share without.

PROJECT LIFE WEEK 16

Last week was week 16 of Project Life, already over quarter way through the year! It was back to school for the beginning of Term 2 and the beginning of the netball season for Eve.

Jack went back to boarding school on Monday.  It's hard to say good bye and home is just not the same without him.

Haircut time for Fred who has the straightest hair in the world!

Another meal, another mess, it really is like Groundhog day.

A definite nut case this one, screaming one moment and happy the next.  Evie did Polly's hair in pig tails for the first time, she looks so grown up.

Saturday morning netball begins.

More piggy tail action the only problem being that I have to redo them about a thousand times a day.  She loves pulling her hair out.

Freddie loves his two chooks and has been spending lots of time outside playing with them.  He builds them houses, takes them driving in the big red car and hangs out with them on the trampoline.

Polly busted in Eve's room.  Up on the desk chair licking a lollypop and raiding all the pencil tins.  She loves to climb.

PLAYING CATCH UP

Easter has been and gone, two weeks of school holidays have been and gone and we have moved house.  It has been a super busy couple of weeks.  Loved having our big boy home from boarding school, he went back on Monday.  We spent Easter at home, was quiet and relaxing.

The excitement of the Easter Bunny. Fred was beside himself with excitement to see what the Easter Bunny had left him. Polly loves chocolate and will even eat the eggs through the foil if she can't get them open.  She has been caught so many times sneaking into the big kids' rooms stealing their chocolates.

Spent lots of time at the Water Park over the holidays.  A couple of times we took the playpen for Polly which was perfect.  Quite often Brett would take just the older three kids out for a ski late in the afternoon. Polly is hard work in the boat!

We moved house.  Words can not explain how much I hate moving house.  All settled in now and we have had an early spring clean.

Eve had her formal interview at St Hilda's and it's officially where she will be going to school next year.  She is so excited!

Brett clicked over another year.

And that's about it.  Now we are getting back into the swing of school.  No more swimming, netball season begins.  Polly is unbelievably busy, if she is quiet than she is into mischief, there is N E V E R a dull moment with her!  Fred can't wait to get back to Kindy.

APRIL DOUBLE UP KIT

WEEK 12 WRAP UP

The highlight of this week was State Swimming for Jack and our end of swimming season presentation dinner.

We went down to Brisvegas for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Jack swam for Met North region this year.  He swam in five individual events and made the final for each event.  A PB for his 50 Free and 50 Breast.  His freestyle relay team came second and medley relay team came third.  His first state medals.

On Saturday night, we had our regional swimming presentation dinner in Toowoomba.  Both Eve and Jack were presented with an Outstanding Achievement award, Jack also got 13 Year Old coutry age champion and swimmer of the meet.

Fred's obsession this week was with the extendable magnet.  He had great fun finding things to "magnetize".  I think he almost used an entire box of staples.

Polly loves to be pushed around in the $10 doll's stroller.  Never mind that her bum is almost dragging on the ground!

This is our first Easter in 10 years that we havn't gone camping.  Jack arrived home from boarding school and we are looking forward to just hanging out at home over the Easter weekend.  We have to move house next week, so we will enjoy a few relaxing days before the big pack up.

Doesn't quite feel like Easter not camping.  Will feel relieved come Monday when we don't have to do opereration camp pack up!
